June 18, 2008 Mr. Michael Cox, Attorney General PO Box 30212 525 W. Ottawa Avenue Lansing MI 48909 Dear Mr. Cox: Attached is a copy of a letter to Mike Ryder, Michigan Department of State, Bureau of Elections, dated January 21, 2008. In this letter, I detail my complaints regarding the 2005 General Election. Please consider this letter official notice of these complaints. As the Democratic candidate against Joyce Watts, the Allegan County Clerk who showed up at a recount with a large number of printed ballots, when the printer was out of order on the day of the election, I will be bringing my case to the people of Allegan County in my candidacy, to the people of State of Michigan through the internet news sites, to the people of the United States and Internationally through Bev Harris’s intention of highlighting these events on BlackBoxVoting.org. Additionally, I testified before the State Senate Committee on Elections last June regarding these events. After one year and no action taken on these charges, it appears that the people of this great state have completely lost their government. While innocent people like the Reverend Pinkney of Benton Harbor, who passes a lie detector test, and two of the four witnesses testifying against him have retracted their testimony saying they were pressured by the prosecutor now sits in a Michigan jail, while officials guilty of far greater election crimes against the people continue with at worst a slap on the wrist. To date, I have never received an official reply to my complaints filed with Detective Doan of the Wayland branch of the State Police. I would like to know just where you stand on these complaints, and why action has not been taken by your office. Thank you! Sincerely, Pat Foster, Editor
